Pasta has always been, hands down, my favorite food. You don’t grow up in an Italian family without consuming your weight in carbs weekly.


On that note, I wanted to share a super simple recipe that I make often for our family. Even the kids like the sausage and noodles from this one! Hope you enjoy!


1 lb. fettuccine

1 package (5 links) Italian sausage

2, 10-oz. boxes of organic spinach

1 bulb fresh garlic

Garlic salt

1 container of fresh pecorino romano cheese


Remove casing from sausage. Break into pieces and put in pan with olive oil and 2-3 crushed cloves of fresh garlic. Cook through and brown on the outside.


Steam 2 boxes of spinach along with 2-3 cloves of crushed garlic. (I also sprinkle a bit of olive oil over spinach while it’s steaming. This is optional.)


Boil pasta, rinse in hot water, add a touch of olive oil and work it through. Then put steamed spinach and cooked sausage on top. Sprinkle with a generous amount of pecorino romano cheese, and…
