On My Vanity: June

On My Vanity: June

In honor of the official start of summer, let’s round up some products from my vanity for the month of June!

This month features an amazing broad-spectrum SPF (still my favorite type of product to try), a versatile antioxidant booster that can be combined with any lotion, and a luxurious hand cream.

Kopari Broad Spectrum SPF 30

My favorite type of beauty product is skincare, and my favorite type of skincare is SPF. Specifically, a great physical sunblock that blends well into skin but also performs. I’m always and forever trying new formulas, and recently added this one into the rotation.

I throw it into our beach bag and also use it on the kids by the pool or ocean. It’s on the more moisturizing side, so if you’re using under makeup, definitely allow it to soak in for a few minutes before applying your base.

True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster

True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster

A truly versatile product! This powder form of Vitamin C can be added into any moisturizer you already have and love to give it a boost of skin-benefitting antioxidant power.

I use my Beautycounter Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion (honestly, one of my holy grail moisturizers and the perfect, light lotion consistency for summer) with this all the time. But honestly, it would play nicely with almost any lotion out there.

Put some moisturizer into the palm of your hand, add one or two shakes of this powder, mix together and apply to your face. It’s that simple!

Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Hand Cream

On My Vanity: June - Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Hand Cream

A nightstand and glove box staple, I keep this hand cream with me whether I’m at home or on the run. It’s a luxurious hand cream. It smells faintly woodsy and is incredibly hydrating.

There’s something that feels so pampering about buying a real-deal hand cream, right? This is my first time buying it, and although it admittedly felt a little overindulgent when I bought it (I don’t know, anything more than… $5?… for a hand cream felt too much), I realized after the first application that it was totally worth it.

Also, this tube will last you a while. I’ve had mine for six months and it’s still going strong!
