Soaking in the Sun with Ottica

There are lots of things that I had to adjust to when I moved from Pittsburgh to Florida.

The obvious: I said goodbye to almost all of my family, who still live in Pittsburgh, which was tough. I also said goodbye to most of my winter wardrobe—and gladly, for the most part.

But I had to introduce other things into my wardrobe and life that, up North, I only used for a short portion of the year.

Sunglasses are one of those things.

There is literally not one day I have lived in Florida that I haven’t worn sunglasses. This is both wonderful—because, come on, who doesn’t love sunshine—but can also be kind of painful when you forget to tote a pair along. (It is BRIGHT and HOT here most days!)

It’s not an exaggeration to say you can never have enough pairs of sunglasses lying around, so when Ottica, a new sunglasses and glasses site, reached out to work with me, I was so thrilled to check out what they have to offer.

Not only does Ottica carry a bunch of well-known brands—Versace, Tory Burch, Ray Ban, Burberry, Michael Kors and Coach—but they also have lesser-known but beautiful styles from lesser-known brands, like Carolina Lemke.

When Ottica let me choose some frames for review, I immediately gravitated toward Carolina Lemke’s trendy yet classic styles. Honestly, they are all so pretty, I had trouble picking just two. And let me tell you, they are absolutely adorable in person too, super comfortable, and really reasonably priced.

In addition to the Carolina Lemke shades, Ottica also has an in-house brand called Ottoto that’s worth checking out.

Ottica sells both sunglasses and regular glasses, and they offer a great deal (50% off your first pair) for new customers, as well as a 365-day warranty, free shipping and returns, and 24/7 customer service, so they’re definitely worth a check. You also get FREE prescription lenses with every purchase!

And if you find yourself in Florida anytime soon, don’t forget to bring a pair of shades or two. You’ll need them! 😉

Sunglasses provided by Ottica, but as always, all opinions are my own. Thanks, Ottica!
